Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of paramedic program with clinical hours.
• Minimum 2 years paramedic experience in field or hospital.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certification required.
• Georgia Driver's License required.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists medical and nursing staff with ED patient care.
• Gathers patient information during intake and records it in the system.
• Performs diagnostic tasks such as EKG and cardiac monitoring.
• Administers medications as delegated by the RN.
• Transports and monitors critical patients; supports patient flow.
• Responds to Trauma Alerts, Code Fast, STEMI Alerts as assigned.
