Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Paramedic to join the Emergency Department team. You will deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with RNs, ED Providers, and other staff, and perform lifesaving procedures within scope defined by NC EMS and the NC Board of Nursing.

Applicants must be a Graduate Paramedic with NC paramedic licensure and have at least 6 months of clinical EMS experience; an Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Science is preferred.

Qualifications

• NC paramedic licensure required.
• Graduate Paramedic with Associate degree in Emergency Medical Science preferred.
• Minimum 6 months clinical EMS experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in the ED as part of the ED team.
• Perform procedures and tasks per NC Office of EMS and NC Board of Nursing.
• Communicate effectively with neonatal through geriatric patients.
