Advocate Health's Emergency Department in Lexington is seeking a Full-time LPN to provide direct patient care and assist with assessments and care planning. The role requires ability to document data, support patient teaching, and communicate changes in orders to the supervising nurse.

Hours are 36 per week, 7a–7p, with every other weekend. LPN licensure and BLS within 6 months are required, with no prior experience necessary beyond completion of an accredited PN program.

Formación

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 6 months unless exempted.
• LPN license issued by the practicing state.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care per policies and standards.
• Assist with assessment by documenting data and patient responses.
• Help develop and implement the plan of care under the nurse's supervision.
• Support patient teaching according to the care plan.
• Document nursing interventions and communicate patient status changes.
• Communicate changes in medical orders to the nurse in charge.
