Qualifications

• DVM degree is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medicine, ideally in a specialty hospital.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse emergency caseload.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or interest in leadership development.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients during scheduled shifts.
• Responsible for the Emergency doctor team schedule.

Sugar Land Veterinary Specialty and Emergency (SLVS) is ready to welcome an experienced Emergency Doctor to join our premier multi-disciplinary hospital. This position also serves as the Emergency Department Head, offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to combine clinical excellence with departmental leadership. Since 2007, SLVS has been a pillar of the South Texas veterinary community, providing high-level referral and emergency services within our 19,000-square-foot facility.
