Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.

• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications desirable.
• Trauma nurse experience and supervisory background preferred.
• Minimum one year staff nurse experience in acute care; leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative responsibility for the department and supervise staff.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities.
• Train and orient personnel; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration; ensure efficient unit operations.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
