Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks an Emergency Department Clinical Educator to lead nursing education across CHI Health Midlands in Papillion and CHI Health Lakeside in West Omaha. You will design, implement, and evaluate ED education programs, mentor frontline nurses, and promote best practices to elevate patient care across multiple clinical settings.

The role requires advanced clinical expertise, strong communication and teaching skills, and a passion for professional development to drive excellence

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required or in progress with MSN within 5 years of start date
• Experience developing and implementing clinical education programs

Responsibilities

• Assesses, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs and professional development for nursing staff
• Acts as role model, clinical nursing expert, and change agent across CHI Health nursing division
• Serves as consultant for nursing practice initiatives and program development
• Seeks evidence-based practices and applies them to clinical education and excellence
• Provides clinical expertise and leadership to quality improvement initiatives
• Coordinates onboarding, orientation, residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and preceptor/mentoring programs
