Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of Registered Nurse experience, with at least one year in a clinical specialty.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel and participate in interviewing applicants for posted positions; provide input into staff evaluations.
• Monitor staffing patterns and utilization of nursing resources; coordinate staff meetings.
• Participate in development and implementation of standards of client care, policies, procedures and protocols; ensure delivery of patient care on the unit.
• Function as an educator; participate in in-service programs and clinical orientation for the unit.
