Qualifications

• Three (3) years of Registered Nurse experience, one year in clinical specialty.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising nursing personnel, participate in interviewing and staffing decisions, and monitor staff performance.
• Coordinate staff meetings and assist with day-to-day unit operations and resource utilization.
• Participate in development and implementation of care standards, policies, and protocols for patient care on the unit.
• Act as educator and provide in-service development for staff and orientation for new nurses.
• Support quality assurance activities and assist in discharge planning as appropriate.
