Job summary

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is seeking an Emergency Technician to provide direct support in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The role involves vital signs, EKGs, blood draws, splinting, patient transport, and assisting with procedures under RN/MD supervision.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, completion of licensure/certification, and EMS experience with LNA certification. This on-site position requires working rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Completion of licensure/certification program required.
• 2+ years EMS experience preferred; EMT-B/ EMT-Advanced/Paramedic levels.
• Certified LNA

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Perform 12-lead EKGs and point-of-care tests.
• Draw blood and collect specimens.
• Transport patients within the hospital and maintain stocked rooms.
• Assist with trauma resuscitation, CPR, and airway procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and monitor status.
