Job summary

Novant Health, in partnership with Stokes Community Hospital, seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the Emergency Department. You will deliver high-quality acute care, assess and treat a spectrum of conditions, and work within a team-focused, patient-centered environment.

The role requires a Master's degree, PA/NP licensure, NCCPA or state nursing board registration, BLS, and DEA registration, with rheumatology/internal medicine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PA/NP program and NCCPA accreditation.
• Current PA/NP license in appropriate state; NCCPA registration; BLS; DEA registration.
• Experience in rheumatology or internal medicine sub-specialties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in the emergency department and assist with patient flow.
• Perform comprehensive exams, order and interpret tests, and manage treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Candidate Qualifications:

• Education:Master's Degreerequired.Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master’s NP programrequired.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration:Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, BLS, DEA registry required.

Prefer candidates with experience working in rheumatology or other relevant internal medicine sub-specialties.
