Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking individuals to join its emergency response candidate pipeline as Debris Monitors. The role involves on-site monitoring of debris removal across sites, with training provided and no prior experience required.

This is a temporary, on-call opportunity tied to storm impacts and project activation. Successful candidates will work 5–6 days a week, 10–12 hour days, in potentially adverse weather, and will receive weekly pay in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.5-6 days/week; 10-12 hours/day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading activities of trucks and equipment; ensure safety protocols and regulations are followed.
• Record truck loads, vehicle types, and debris classifications using devices and logs.
• Monitor truck movement, document weight points, ensure only eligible debris from public areas.
• Interact professionally with contractors, officials, and the public during long shifts in adverse weather.
• Ensure debris clearance before contractors proceed and provide regular briefings to supervisors.
