Quakertown Veterinary Clinic in Quakertown, PA seeks Veterinary Technicians for Emergency & Critical Care with both full-time and part-time options. You will work in a busy 24-hour hospital providing care from admission through recovery, across small animals and occasional large animals, with opportunities to gain diverse experience.

We offer shift differentials, evening/night/weekend options, and potential sign-on bonuses; candidates with CVT/LVT/RVT credentials are welcome, but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary hospital setting is required.
• Emergency, ICU, or specialty experience is a plus.
• CVT/LVT/RVT credentials preferred but not required.
• Strong technical and patient care skills.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy shifts.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to support rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess incoming emergency cases and prioritize care.
• Assist veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Collect lab samples and perform venipuncture.
• Place and maintain IV catheters.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and recovery.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Communicate with clients about status and care plans.
• Support small and occasional large animals.
• Advocate for patient comfort using low-stress handling.
