Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent education.
• Prior dispatching, emergency communications or campus/healthcare public safety experience preferred.
• Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members.
• Able To Withstand Crisis Situations.
• Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes emergency and non-emergency calls for service and dispatches personnel per policy.
• Transmits information by telephone, radio and overhead announcements clearly.
• Monitors CCTV and public safety technologies in the operations center.
• Responds to fire alarm systems and assists with testing as required.
• Documents activity and prepares reports clearly and accurately.
• Assists patients, visitors and staff with information and safety needs.
• Participates in training and maintains certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
