Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Florida seeks a Security Specialist to monitor incidents, dispatch Cast Members, and document field operations using CAD software.

Qualified applicants will hold a Florida driver's license, emergency communications experience, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with discretion and clear communication.

This role operates on a costumed hourly schedule with shifts across day and night; availability seven days a week is required.

Qualifications

• A valid Florida Driver's License.
• Eligibility to obtain and pass the Florida Class D Security License Examination.
• Ability to multi-task and dispatch services at the same time.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced team.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, EM, EMS, dispatch or related field.
• Certified 911 Dispatcher or equivalent emergency communications certification or high-volume call center experience.

Responsibilities

• Research ongoing communication in external markets to guide leadership on incidents.
• Capture incoming calls, prioritize information, and dispatch Cast Members promptly.
• Audibly intake and transcribe communication and documents for leaders using CAD software.
• Monitor alarm monitoring software and dispatch internal and external partners for emergency responses.
• Use radio communication and computer tech to record field operations for Guests and Cast Members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Deliver clear verbal and written messages to internal and external partners.
