Qualifications

  • Current WSP employee with one year of experience as a Communications Officer 1 within the last two years.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 dispatch environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-the-job training and evaluate new employees in key work activities.
  • Use formal training material and act as a resource for trainees.
  • Provide professional customer service using skills learned to manage emergency calls.
  • Utilize CAD, mapping, and sensitive databases to provide timely support.
  • Dispatch calls for service and coordinate with field units via radio.
