Job summary

Qualifications

• EMT-BASIC or EMT-INT - EMT-Intermediate or EMT-ADV - EMT-Advanced or NREMT - NREMT or PARA - Paramedic BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls from the ECC and coordinates emergency patient referrals and transportation.
• Dispatches AU Health AirCare and maintains flight following and tracking of aircraft.
• Collects and records patient demographics and information; maintains call logs and database entries.
• Acts as liaison between referring physicians, ED staff, EMS providers, and transport teams to ensure timely communications.
• Adheres to FCC guidelines for operating radio transmitters and uses professional EMS jargon.
