Responsibilities

• Receives and transmits information using telephone, radio, teletype, computer, alarm systems, and personal contacts.
• Records information received and dispatches appropriate personnel and equipment.
• Maintains typed log of activities and enters data into computer systems.
• Monitors alarm systems, video, and audio monitors of various areas.
• Answers questions and makes referrals by telephone or for walk-ins.
• Acts as receptionist when clerical staff are unavailable.
