Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a qualified administrative/clerical professional to receive all incoming calls, connect callers to the appropriate party, and alert personnel during emergencies. The role maintains extension lists and monitors alarms, ensuring effective communication across the hospital.

Responsibilities include paging and message relays for physicians and staff, assisting with phone procedures, and supporting on-call operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year clerical experience with PBX preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Screens and routes all calls, beeps and pages to the appropriate sources.
• Maintains knowledge of emergency codes and procedures and acts promptly in emergencies.
• Provides information to physicians and on-call personnel and routes messages accurately.
• Guides staff, patients and physicians on telephone procedures and capabilities; coordinates with telephone staff.
• Ensures staff under supervision correctly use appropriate personal protective equipment.
