Job summary

Woods Services in Langhorne, PA seeks an Emergency Certified Special Education Teacher to design and implement IEPs for students with disabilities. You will evaluate progress, write goals, and lead daily lesson plans while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

Bachelor’s is required and you must be enrolled in a Master’s in Education leading to SPED certification. The role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–3pm schedule, a supportive team, PBIS framework, and benefits eligibility after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and meet other physical requirement standards

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each student.
• Assess student functioning level and develop objectives based on assessment.
• Write functional educational goals aligned with IEP/IHP/ISP and state laws.
• Prepare and implement daily lesson plans.
• Direct teaching methods per student needs within IEP guidelines.
• Collect data and monitor progress toward IEP goals.
• Develop and oversee student behavioral programs per policies.
• Support with transportation and staff supervision as needed.
