Job summary

University Health in Texas seeks an Emergency Center Technician to support EC staff with patient preparation and treatment, record keeping, and data management. You will assist with acute and non-acute cases and help transport patients as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Texas EMT certification or equivalent experience, and current AHA BLS credentials to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Texas EMT certification or equivalent experience; 3 years experience in a comparable emergency department or 2 year’s experience in the military with similar experience is preferred.
• Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
