Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Center team. The RN will manage patient care in a fast-paced trauma ED, coordinating with caregivers and supervising nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Required include MN RN license and BLS; BSN preferred with plan to obtain within 2 years of hire. Night shifts, variable FTE from .6 to .75, 8/12 hour shifts with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
• BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines

Responsibilities

• Manage the episode of patient care in partnership with patients, care givers, and other providers to deliver safe, quality health care.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel.
• Maintain safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Center environment.
