Job summary

Methodist Hospital is hiring an Emergency Center Technician to join our Emergency Center team. The technician provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse; EMT licensure and BLS certification are required at time of hire.

Prior ED experience is preferred and the role supports fast-paced, high-stakes care. The position offers 0.75 FTE in the evenings, 12-hour shifts, with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• EMT licensure and BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Experience in an Emergency Center or fast-paced setting preferred.
• Demonstrates compassionate, patient-centered care and strong prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist in triage and patient monitoring in a fast-paced Emergency Center.
