Job summary

Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth is seeking an Advanced Care Technician/Paramedic to support the Emergency Department team during the 7pm–7am shift. This half-time role provides critical patient care and unit support, working under the medical director's direction.

Required are a high school diploma, EMT-P certification, active BLS, and PALS within 6 months of hire, with 1 year paramedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year Paramedic (EMT-P) experience required.
• Current Paramedic (EMT-P) certification or license (must maintain and keep active) required.
• BLS required.
• PALS within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Emergency Department under the direction of the medical director.
• Perform support functions related to unit operations.
• Support and supplement the health care team in designated areas of the hospital.
