Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with emergency procedures and nursing workflows.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within provisional period.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and standard hospital forms.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff in emergency care and patient management.
• Transport patients to floors and units by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Perform phlebotomy as directed and document in Med Host.
• Stock assigned areas and complete shift check-off sheets.
• Process routine orders and coordinate with authorized caregivers and pharmacy.
• Maintain patient charts and assist with regulatory readiness.
