HSHS Hospital is seeking an Emergency Technician to join the Emergency Department team in Springfield, IL. The role supports RNs, provides patient care, and maintains a calm, compassionate presence in a fast-paced environment. Full-time schedule includes nights and days, 36 hours per week, base pay plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant LPN or Emergency Medical Technician.
• No Experience Required
• Eligible to work as a Nursing Assistant in the hospital and/or home health care agency as listed on the state Nurse Aide Registry LPN licensed in the state of practice or Emergency Medical Technician certified in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Technicians work closely with RNs and the rest of the emergency team to provide high-quality patient care and a calming confident and caring presence in the potentially high-stress and fast-paced emergency department.
