HSHS is seeking a Nursing Support professional for the Emergency Department in Effingham, IL. The role is part-time (24 hours weekly) with a night shift, performing patient care under a nurse's direction and assisting patients and visitors to maintain a caring environment.

Requires a High School Diploma/GED or related vocational training. BLS is required within 30 days; EMT or CNA is preferred. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Greets, assists, and directs patients and visitors and monitors activity to establish a friendly caring environment.
• Provides care for patients according to the standards of care specific to age and the individual's needs.
• May collect blood samples and process specimens.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment.
