Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Emergency Services Unit. You will support the bedside RN and charge nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment during shifts that include nights and a variable schedule.

The role offers both full-time and part-time options with night work. Required: BLS at hire; 6 months of healthcare experience preferred; terminology training within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required at hire.
• Minimum 6 months healthcare experience.
• Medical Terminology course or hospital terminology test within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under the direct supervision of the bedside RN and charge nurse.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment to support patient-focused care.
• Facilitate clear communication between patient, family, and care team.
