Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Nurse Staff for the Emergency Care Center. This full-time mid-shift position runs 1pm–1am and includes every other weekend, with a strong emphasis on patient care and teamwork.

You will deliver nursing care using the Nursing Process and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. An Associate Degree in Nursing is required, with required certifications completed within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Initial competencies including De-Escalation, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100 & 700 must be completed within 12 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to provide and document professional nursing care.
• Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Communicate findings to appropriate staff and serve as a resource for SRH/ECC nursing personnel.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by leadership.
