Job summary

Hoke Hospital in Raeford, North Carolina, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the Emergency Department night shift. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelors in Psychology or Social Work preferred.
• BSL from the American Heart Association required.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training is required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient care and monitor changes in condition.
• Obtain vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide emotional support and crisis de-escalation as needed.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges under supervision.
• Maintain safe, clean, and therapeutic environment in ED.
