Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required; CPR certification preferred.
• Able to pass a physical agility test and meet healthcare exposure requirements.
• Experience in healthcare settings is preferred to understand patient care basics.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for transport records.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency transport requests in a timely manner.
• Document trip information accurately while following policies and protecting patient privacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment and perform pre-shift mechanical checks.
• Communicate using standard radio codes and coordinate with dispatch and medical teams.
• Operate transport equipment (stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair) and manage supplies.
• Collaborate professionally with health and safety personnel and other drivers.
