Job description

About us

Infinite Lambda is Europe’s fastest-growing data and cloud engineering consultancy. We empower leading companies to scale and become data-first through agile, cloud-native solutions and cutting-edge practices.

Our mission is to bring top professionals together to make an impact at the intersection of tech and sustainable growth.

Headquartered in London and having distributed teams based in the UK, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Singapore, Italy, Romania and now expanding to South America, we embrace diversity and make sure everyone is happy to be their true self at work. We have already started building teams in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, and are looking forward to welcoming more teammates to contribute to meaningful projects. Together, we can grow, learn, and experiment with the cutting-edge data and AI technology (dbt and Snowflake among others) that we are all excited about.

About the role

At Infinite Lambda, Analytics Engineers turn vast amounts of data into insightful, easy-to-use, automated BI solutions. This is a highly client-facing role where you will work directly with our partners’ project teams to deliver high-impact analytics and reporting that drive better business decisions. You will leverage modern data tools with a strong focus on dbt for reliable data modeling/transformation and BI tools for analytics to build scalable, self‑service solutions.

Anticipated start date: January 2027

Requirements

This client-facing role carries significant responsibility toward both our clients and delivery teams. We are looking for an experienced analytics professional who combines strong technical skills with excellent consultancy abilities.

Must-have technical skills

You need 5+ years of relevant experience and strong proficiency in:

  • SQL (advanced fluency is non-negotiable)
  • dbt (solid, hands‑on experience required, including data modeling, transformation, testing, documentation, and deployment)
  • ELT processes and modern data pipeline best practices
  • Version control with Git
  • BI tools: Strong experience with Tableau/ Power BI / Qlik / Looker
  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms is highly desirable.
Must-have client-facing & consultancy skills

Because most of the upcoming work is client-facing, the following are essential:

  • Proven client-facing or consultancy experience — you enjoy working directly with stakeholders, gathering requirements, providing recommendations, and delivering impactful solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a distributed, agile team environment
  • Self‑starter with strong ownership and initiative
  • High attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality work

This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong in dbt and modern BI platforms and thrives in a client‑centric, consultancy‑style environment.

Why join Infinite Lambda

  • You work autonomously here in a wholesome environment and get as much paid holiday as you need;
  • The projects are diverse and give you plenty of opportunity to experiment with new tech;
  • The benefits are plenty, with work‑from‑home budget, a company MacBook and more on the list.
