Job summary

SLR Consulting Limited, a global sustainability solutions provider, is seeking an experienced EMEA Finance Manager to join our Management Accounts team supporting Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will lead employment cost reporting, Opex reporting, lease accounting and balance sheet control across multiple jurisdictions.

You'll manage a team, drive high-quality financial reporting and analysis, and support integrations after acquisitions in a cross-border environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience analysing large and complex employment cost bases.
• Experience across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Job description

You'll collaborate with colleagues across Finance, HR, Payroll, Operations and regional teams, contributing to a dynamic, acquisitive environment with opportunities for cross-border exposure. Responsibilities will include:

• Employment cost reporting and analysis
• Operating expenditure reporting and management commentary
• Lease accounting and compliance
• Balance sheet control
• Team leadership
• Acquisition and integration support

As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), you will also have strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting, along with:

• Experience analysing large and complex employment cost bases
• Strong understanding of balance sheet control and reconciliation processes
• Experience working across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
• Proven ability to manage and develop team members
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desirable

• Experience within a private equity-backed or acquisitive organisation
• Experience operating in a multi-country EMEA environment
• Knowledge of lease accounting standards
• Experience supporting integrations following acquisitions
• Experience within professional services, consultancy, engineering, environmental or related sectors
