Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Field Application Engineer (EMEA) to engage with customers in the semiconductor industry, particularly in Industrial, Aerospace & Defense markets. This role involves providing technical support during pre-sales and development phases, driving design-in activities, and troubleshooting technical issues related to MIPS solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of relevant experience, a strong engineering background, and excellent problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering is required, alongside fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in Field Application Engineering or similar roles.
• Experience in Semiconductor IP, SoC/ASIC development.
• Strong understanding of electronic architectures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical interface for customers.
• Drive design-in activities and secure design wins.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues.
• Support opportunity creation with Business Development.
