Job summary

Littelfuse, a diversified industrial technology leader, seeks a Field Application Engineer to support its Energy & Industrial Infrastructure business across EMEA. You will partner with customers and the regional sales team to identify technologies and guide design-ins from concept to production.

The role requires a power semiconductors background, Fluent English, 50–60% travel across the region, and a base salary of €50,000–€65,000 plus bonuses, determined by experience and technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related_field.
• 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience in Field Application Engineering or similar.
• Experience with power semiconductors is essential.
• Ability to understand system architectures and customer requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication for engineering and commercial audiences.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% across EMEA.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers during development and design-in process.
• Analyze requirements and propose technical solutions with internal specialists.
• Troubleshoot issues and support testing, validation, and investigations.
• Partner with Sales to identify opportunities and support design wins.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training for customers and partners.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D and Quality to capture customer needs.
• Monitor opportunities and share knowledge across the EMEA organization.
• Travel across EMEA to support projects and training.
