Job summary

HBK is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a fixed 12-month contract. The role focuses on protecting HBK's global IT environment, designing and maintaining security controls across cloud, networks, and endpoints.

You will lead incident response, drive risk-based improvements, and collaborate across IT, legal, and operations to embed security into projects. The successful candidate will balance operational excellence with strategic risk management in a manufacturing-enabled environment,

Qualifications

• Hands-on security professional with experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading security assessments, incident response, and remediation activities.
• Knowledge of cloud security controls, identity & access management, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vulnerability management, ensuring scans run and findings are reported to stakeholders.
• Assess security implications of new AI tooling and models requested by the business.
• Perform security assessments on new cloud and on-prem infrastructure and networks.
• Conduct security posture checks on M365, Azure, and external assets.
• Lead security incidents: detection, containment, eradication and post-incident review.
• Collaborate with legal, HR, and operations on insider threat investigations and breach notifications.
• Arrange and manage security audits and penetration testing.
• Prepare and present security reports to management.
