Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on Attack Surface Management. You will lead external validation efforts, design and mature security validation capabilities, and work with cross-functional teams to simulate adversarial scenarios and strengthen cyber resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience building and extending security validation tooling.
• Strong programming experience in at least one modern language.
• Familiarity with data pipelines and log analysis in security contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead External Attack Surface Management (EASM) validation and client validation efforts.
• Design, implement, and mature advanced security validation capabilities for enterprise systems.
• Perform continuous security validation using EASM tools and integrate findings with existing security infrastructure.

Description:

Lead EASM/Client validation and engineering: Investigate and reproduce findings from EASM platforms (e.g., exposed services, misconfigurations, weak crypto, DNS issues, leaked assets)

• The Cybersecurity Engineer (Attack Surface Management) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maturing advanced security validation capabilities to safeguard enterprise systems and applications.
• This role focuses on continuous security validation through External Attack Surface Management (EASM) tools, integration with existing security infrastructure, and providing actionable insights to strengthen the firm’s cyber resilience.
• The engineer partners with cross-functional teams to simulate real-world adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), evaluate control effectiveness, and recommend enhancements that align with enterprise risk management and regulatory standards.
