Job summary

Savia Community Counseling Services seeks an EMDR Therapist for our Outpatient Department. You will treat children, adolescents, and adults using EMDR and other evidence-based modalities in a trauma-informed, collaborative team setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in a relevant field, NJ licensure, and EMDR training; certification is a plus. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, document thoroughly, and participate in monthly case consultations while building a steady caseload.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Active NJ license (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).
• EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved training required).
• EMDR Certification preferred but not required.
• Experience working with trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders.
• Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services using EMDR and other evidence-based interventions

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members
• Monthly Case Consultation Calls

This position is ideal for a clinician passionate about trauma-informed care and interested in building a steady caseload within a supportive, collaborative team environment. The selected candidate will provide high-quality clinical services utilizing EMDR and other evidence-based modalities to children, adolescents, and/or adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and related concerns.
