Job summary

Savia Community Counseling Services is seeking a trained EMDR Therapist to join our Outpatient Department in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. The clinician will provide high-quality services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, and mood concerns, using EMDR and evidence-based modalities in a collaborative setting.

The role requires NJ licensure (LPC or LCSW), EMDR training, and a passion for trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Active NJ license (LPC, LCSW).
• EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved training required).
• EMDR Certification preferred but not required.
• Experience working with trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders.
• Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services using EMDR and other evidence-based interventions
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members
• Monthly Case Consultation Calls
• Maintain productivity expectations aligned with 13 weekly hours

The selected candidate will provide high-quality clinical services utilizing EMDR and other evidence-based modalities to children, adolescents, and/or adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and related concerns.
