Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience or training evidencing ability to perform the duties of electronic industrial controls work, as described in the qualification section.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, schematics and specifications and to troubleshoot electronic control systems.
• Knowledge of electronic solid state circuitry and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, modification and fabrication of EMCS and related control systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications to understand system operation.
• Diagnose malfunctions, select appropriate test methods and apply corrective actions.
• Work with various test equipment to identify failures and verify repairs.
• Operate safely and in compliance with applicable regulations; follow supervisor instructions.
