Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Associate Engineer to join its Lexington laboratory to support EMC and product compliance testing. You will perform hands-on testing, review schematics, and document results across the full testing lifecycle, gaining exposure to electrical products and standards.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience, 2+ years in testing, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on testing, troubleshooting, validation, electrical, electronics, RF, or related experience.
Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, production, industrial, testing, or quality-focused environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and technical documentation.
Hands-on experience with measurement equipment (multimeters, scopes, power supplies).
Ability to document test results and report findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on product testing and evaluation in a laboratory environment.
Conduct on-site and off-site product evaluations for compliance with standards and codes.
Set up and operate test equipment and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing.
Follow test plans to ensure accurate, consistent results and generate final reports.
