Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks an Electrical System Test Engineer to lead EMC test readiness across development, qualification, and validation efforts. You will define harnesses, test setups, and interfaces, collaborating with avionics, system, and software engineers to ensure robust test coverage from design through final validation.

The role requires 3+ years with NX CAD, harness design, and PCB tools; security clearance eligibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years design experience with NX CAD for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged applications.
• Familiar with CAN, Ethernet, RS422/RS232, MIL-STD-1553 bus interfaces.
• Proficient with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Reads schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own EMC test readiness end-to-end from designs to test configurations and schedules.
• Create test systems to support all phases of product development.
• Define cable harnesses, interfaces, and test hardware setups.
• Collaborate with SW/FW for test modes and telemetry.
• Configure DUT operating modes for EMC testing.
• Develop and maintain test setup documentation.
• Track on-time delivery of test hardware and fixtures.
• Coordinate across disciplines to remove blockers and reduce dead time.
• Maintain schedule visibility and escalate risks early to protect milestones.
• Participate in design reviews and identify issues affecting integration.
• Conduct root cause analysis for vehicle integration and field ops.
