Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond is seeking an EMC Lab Student Worker to support EMT and paramedic skills labs. The role accommodates part-time hours (10–15 per week) with no benefits, and requires a full-time EKU student who can work during designated lab times.

This is a student worker position intended to supplement the on-campus EMT and paramedic skills laboratory classes. Qualified applicants must have the aptitude for teaching and explaining skills to students in initial certification-level courses at the EMT-Basic and/or paramedic level. Preference will be given to students who are licensed paramedics capable of assisting both levels of lab classes. This is intended for full-time undergraduate or graduate students who qualify for institutional work study.
Must submit proof of NREMT and/or state-level EMT or paramedic certification.
Must have desire to teach/mentor students in clinical settings; preference given to those with FTO experience, precepting experience, and/or instructor/tutoring experience.
Must submit proof of current class schedule to prove eligibility to work during lab times.
Must be a full-time student at EKU.
Kentucky or NREMT Licensed EMT Required
Kentucky or NREMT Licensed Paramedic desired
