Job summary

AMS Corporation is seeking an EMC Laboratory Manager in Knoxville, TN, responsible for leading the EMC lab operations to ensure high-quality technical services supporting nuclear plant safety and reliability.

The candidate will oversee testing, reporting quality assurance and continuously improve EMC capabilities. Required qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and strong technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or team management experience.
• Preferred: Hands-on EMC experience with MIL-STD-461 and/or IEC 61000 testing.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end performance of the EMC lab.
• Lead day-to-day lab operations including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B.
