A leading global testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) organization is seeking an EMC Test Engineer to perform Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radio Frequency (RF) testing within a laboratory environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a range of products and technologies, supporting customers through regulatory testing, technical evaluation, and certification activities
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by actively participating, taking responsibility, and following established procedures and policies.
- Apply standard engineering principles to product evaluation and testing.
- Perform Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radio Frequency (RF) testing.
- Review pre-evaluation documentation to understand project objectives prior to beginning testing.
- Perform EMC and RF testing in accordance with applicable regulatory standards and requirements.
- Analyze test data and prepare accurate test data sheets.
- Create client deliverables including test reports, letter reports, and certification reports.
- Communicate test results and findings effectively with customers.
- Travel to and perform testing at client facilities as required.
- Interface directly with internal teams and external customers.
- Conduct routine operation, maintenance, calibration, qualification, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
- Assist with the development, writing, review, and validation of test methods, laboratory SOPs, and other quality and operational documentation.
- Assist with investigating and responding to client inquiries and complaints.
- Coordinate with laboratory engineers, technicians, and assistants on sample receiving, logging, preparation, testing, and related activities.
- Manage multiple projects while working within tight deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project and business needs.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in EMC testing or a related industry.

Physical Considerations
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate laboratory and computer equipment.
- May occasionally need to reach, stoop, kneel, or work around laboratory equipment.
- Requires close vision for computer and laboratory work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
Travel Considerations
- Up to 25% domestic and/or international travel, including occasional overnight stays.
