Job summary

Centillion Infotech LLC is seeking an EMI/EMC Test Engineer to own electromagnetic compatibility and interference testing for the medical device portfolio, ensuring IEC 60601-1-2 compliance and supporting FDA/international regulatory submissions.

The role collaborates with R&D, systems engineering, and regulatory affairs to identify EMC risks throughout the design lifecycle, especially for devices used in clinical and home-use environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Biomedical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute EMC pre- and full-compliance testing per IEC 60601-1-2.
• Coordinate with third-party test labs for IEC 60601-1-2 certification testing.
• Author and maintain EMC test plans, protocols, and FDA/CE documentation.
• Link EMC test evidence to risk management files (ISO 14971).
• Recommend design mitigations (shielding, filtering, grounding, isolation).
• Support root-cause investigations for EMC field issues.
