Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects Engineer to ensure electronics performance in harsh electromagnetic environments. You will work on EMC and radio certification for Starlink systems, including the phased array dish and related ground hardware.

You will support pre-compliance testing, operate diverse EMI/RF test equipment, and coordinate with design teams to meet CISPR/FCC standards. The role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering and hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of hardware-focused electrical engineering or EMC experience.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-compliance and third-party testing for EMI/EMC in IEC/EN/CISPR/FCC standards and DO160G.
• Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC and radio requirements.
• Operate and automate EMI/RF test equipment including chambers and conducted assets.
• Develop calibration routines for lab equipment used in compliance testing.
• Collaborate with design teams across Starlink product applications.
