Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects Test Engineer to join our E3 team in Hawthorne, California. You'll be responsible for ensuring electronics performance in demanding electromagnetic environments and focusing on EMC and radio certification for the Starlink system.

Your role will involve supporting pre-compliance testing, designing and operating the EMC test facility, and interacting with multiple design teams. A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and test engineering experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or other engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of hardware-focused test engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support compliance testing and certification for electronics applications.
  • Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC requirements.
  • Develop and maintain EMC testing facilities and lab accreditation.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot EMI issues.
  • Operate and automate EMI and RF test equipment.

Skills

EMI/EMC knowledge

Education
