Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. seeks an EMC Safety Compliance Engineer to join the Engineering team in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on testing, certification, and regulatory compliance for avionics products.

The engineer will drive EMI/EMC and safety assessments, manage qualification processes, and ensure adherence to RTCA DO-160G, LVD, RED, and EMCD standards while supporting FCC/TCB submissions and issue resolution during testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar technical discipline.
Experience in EMI/EMC, Environmental, safety testing, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with RTCA DO-160G EMI and Environmental testing.
Knowledge of LVD, RED, and EMCD standards.
Minimum of 5+ years in EMC, Environmental, WiFi, NFC design for compliance.

Responsibilities

Perform EMI/EMC testing, Safety, and Environmental Compliance assessments.
Manage product qualification and approval processes for avionics radio products.
Ensure compliance with RTCA DO-160G, LVD, RED, and EMCD standards.
Support submissions for official certification through FCC and TCBs.
Troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues during testing phases.
