Job summary

Columbia Safety & Supply in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Embroidery Machine Operator to join the customization department. The role focuses on accurate, high-quality embroidery output and efficient production aligned with client orders.

You will be responsible for machine setup, file preparation, hooping, loading/unloading, troubleshooting, and documenting settings while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and collaborating with teammates to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Experience operating embroidery machines and adjusting settings
• Ability to select art files, threads, needles, and backing
• Strong attention to quality and design specifications
• Willingness to participate in team training and cross-training

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, calibrate, program, adjust and change machines
• Select art files, threads, needles, and backing per design specs
• Hoop, load/unload items for quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot issues to maintain embroidery quality
• Document machine settings and supplies used for consistency
• Prepare products for packaging and staging to meet timelines
• Participate in training and cross-training with teammates
