Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous embroidery machine experience required.
• Experience with digitized graphics and hooping.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow production instructions and schedules.
• Proficiency with Shopworks and ERP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate single-head and multi-head embroidery machines to apply digitized graphics to apparel and other products.
• Follow daily production schedules to ensure orders are completed by established dates.
• Review work orders and attachments to verify style, color, size, quantity, design, and placement.
• Set up machines with graphics and color sequences.
• Hoop garments and prepare products for embroidery.
• Choose backing, solvy, thread weights, and materials per product.
• Adjust machine speed, tension, and settings as needed.
• Pre-production strike-off and obtain approval before production.
• Monitor production for quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform embroidery techniques (direct, 3D foam, applique, patch, trimming).
• Trim backing and loose threads; inspect finished products for quality.
• Prepare materials for upcoming orders to maintain efficiency.
• Notify Embroidery Lead of shortages or maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot production issues to improve efficiency.
• Scan orders as Produced in Shopworks after completion.
• Maintain machines in clean, safe condition and assist with maintenance.
• Maintain production records and meet productivity standards.
• Follow FTZ compliance requirements and SOPs.
• Assist training of new Embroidery staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper sharps disposal.
• Follow safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.
